The Humaniq project aims to help bring banking to some 2 billion people who are unbanked across the globe. By using Blockchain technology, Mobile Smart Phones and Biometric identity solutions, Humaniq will offer people in emerging economies who don’t have access to banking, the opportunity to lift themselves out of poverty (2 billion people live on less than €2 euro a day) by being empowered to participate in the digital economy as well as have access to microlending resources and other financial instruments.
